Architectural Review Process
The Architectural Committee is responsible for reviewing proposed changes to the landscaping plans and the exterior of all homes in Robeson Meadows, and ensuring that proposed changes conform to the guidelines set forth in the restrictive covenants.
What kinds of projects need Architectural Review?
Typically projects requiring review and approval by the Architectural Committee include:
- Changes to the exterior of the dwelling, including repainting and residing
- Any exterior construction or addition
- Exterior house and/or trim colors
- Changes in the landscaping plan and/or plantings
- Plantings that could obstruct street and/or lake views
- Fences
When to request a review?
It is best to contact the Architectural Committee in the early planning phase of the project. Remember that for projects needing approval, that approval is required in advance. Please do not wait until materials are ordered or contractors are hired, as the review and approval process may result in required changes or cancellation of the project. Please allow at least 30 days after submission of all documentation before setting a starting date for the project.
